Artists looking to highlight their work in our galleries can apply for consideration. A panel of local artists reviews applicants for upcoming shows.

We love partnering with culinary artists and local food + drink vendors for events. Reach out to get on our list of culinary partners we share with renters.
Resident Organizations
Perfect for organizations who want a consistent presence downtown
Host regular events and use 3 Dots as one of their primary gathering spaces.
Some partners opt to host our space weekly during the Daytime (such as New Leaf hosting co-working sessions), while others organize consistent Evening programs (such as Centre Social Dance hosting weekly dance parties). Groups that consistently host at least 2 gatherings per month receive the following perks:
- 25% off all Daytime and Evening rentals
- Free storage space on-site in our utility room
- Priority scheduling for booking events
- Logo listed as a partner on our website and in the space

Culture Catalysts
Perfect for those who want to financially underwrite specific programming
Allow groups in our community to use the space free of charge.
Make a donation in support of a specific cultural issue area, and we’ll ensure those funds allow groups within our community to book our space free of charge or significantly discounted. This allows your donation to support a wide cross-section of organizations in that field and ensure they have a permanent location downtown to regularly convene.

Trustees
Perfect for individuals who want to regularly offer financial support
Help fund and vote on our monthly $1000 Awesome Grants.
Trustees donate $100/month and receive the following perks:
- Meet monthly to vote on projects to receive $1000
- 50% off one Evening rental per year
- Priority scheduling for booking events
- Premium swag, including a 3 Dots pull-over
If $100/month is too much, some of our trustees partner with a friend to each give $50/month.
Thanks to 3 Dots, I have gained a new level of excitement and an outlet for creative ways to engage and innovate in our community.
There are a lot of great people doing awesome things in State College and around the region. I wanted to be a Trustee to support their creative efforts and to make sure awesome ideas had an opportunity to flourish in our community.
Becoming a trustee helped me participate directly in helping make State College and the Centre region a more caring, creative, fun place to live. Concrete action instead of just talk… refreshing!!!
Volunteers & Interns
Perfect for individuals who have time and energy to contribute
Volunteers are the secret ingredient behind catalyzing our community efforts.
Volunteers help with everything from hosting our front desk, shooting promo videos of events, to painting walls between gallery shows. If you’ve got time to donate and an eagerness to make your community a great place, we’ll find a role for you!
Many of our volunteers also co-host events with us – like ‘Tuesdays on the Terrace’ and ‘First Fridays’ – to make them memorable and dynamic.
Interns commit to regularly supporting 3 Dots programming and operations.
We custom design internships to fit your skills and interests, from event management to public relations. Our interns are a dedicated part of our team and we can assist you in lining up internship credit for you.
In exchange, both volunteers and interns receive the following perks:
- 25% off their own Daytime rentals once/month
- 3 Dots swag pack, including t-shirt, stickers, and sunglasses
I love volunteering at 3 Dots because of the energy and atmosphere. There is always something new, fun, and innovative that I get to be a part of. It’s like having a front-row seat to the contribution of the creative atmosphere in State College!
I enjoy being a part of a team that consists of some of the most creative and active voices of State College that are generating an awesome culture in this town.
I love co-hosting events for Tuesdays on the Terrace. It allows me to bring my unique interests to 3 Dots, such as exposing people to the outdoors or organizing bike repair clinics.
We have an active Slack community that many of our volunteers join – it’s like being on a group text with some of the most creative people in State College!
